Ashtanga is based on ancient yoga teachings and was brought to the west by Pattabhi Jois in the 1970s. Ashtanga is a challenging, dynamic, detoxifying and healing practice that follows a specific sequence of postures usually in the same order and links every movement to breath. With practice and focus ashtanga becomes a moving meditation. Ashtanga is the source from which most western styles of yoga derive.
Hatha yoga teaches posture and breath. Our Hatha classes are slow to medium paced with particular focus on the breath. Your Hatha class will include yoga postures which will leave your body feeling stretched, your mind open and your spirit lifted.
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is referred to as the Yoga of awareness & considered the most comprehensive of all Yoga traditions, weaving physical exercise - asana (kriya) with beautiful meditations, mantra - sacred sound, pranayama & deep relaxations into each class.
Kundalini Yoga is an ancient, authentic & deeply powerful mind body healing technology that brings you to experience your true self, uncoiling your true potential. Each Kriya & meditation is designed to bring a certain outcome to the body, mind & soul.
Kundalini is suitable for anyone wanting to improve circulation, aid general wellbeing, improve strength & stamina, deepen meditation, experiencing healing vibrations of your own voice in mantra sounds, come to know your true self.

This lovely evening class is a mix of gentle Hatha, Yin & Restorative styles that flow with the moon cycles and the astrological sign it is in. Asana (postures) and Pranayama (breath techniques) creatively blend together to reflect & enhance these energies. Our Luna Nidra class has a longer, deeper Yoga Nidra meditation in Savasana to finish your practice. Seasonal influences are considered which allow a deeper connection and bring balance to our physical, emotional & spiritual beings. Mantra, mudras, aromas & healing sounds may be part of this unique experience, prepare for the perfect nights sleep.
A deeply nourishing class incorporating Asana (postures) and Pranayama (breath techniques). Suitable for all levels with an emphasis on a safe, nurturing practice to physically re-balance and restore mental calm.
Vinyasa yoga is a flowing class of movement to breath. A Vinyasa class will typically start slowly and include sun salutations to gently warm the body. Your teacher will guide you through a range of flowing sequences before slowing down to cool and calm your body in preparation for Savasana, complete rest to finish your practice.
Vinyasa - heated
A stronger style of yoga. This class is designed to build strength and muscle in the body and core while increasing flexibility, range of movement and cardiovascular fitness. A challenging practice where the studio is heated to warm the body and encourage muscle suppleness and joint mobility. Power Vinyasa will leave you feeling energised and relaxed. Please note this class is not suitable for women who are pregnant.
Yin Yang - heated
A balanced combination of Power Vinyasa and Yin styles which allows students to strengthen, increase flexibility and achieve a sense of balance. The studio is heated to warm the body and encourage muscle suppleness, joint mobility and flexibility. Please note this class is not suitable for women who are pregnant.
A slower, mindful practice that works the fascia or tissue between the muscles as well as increasing muscle flexibility and structural openness. Classes may include Myofascial Release techniques and use props such as blocks, straps and bolsters to support you through some or all of your practice. Injury friendly yet challenging as poses are held for three to five minutes. Yin is the perfect practice to hit the pause button and slow down. It will complement your more dynamic classes.
